A
  • high levels of inward migration combined with under-funded and weak management of transport = high levels of congestion , increasing commuter journey times = high levels of air pollution
  • combination of gentrification and failure to build housing in line with rising demand has led to inflation in house prices- only the most affluent residents are able to live in SF, those who are not able to afford the housing , is marginalised to cheaper suburban areas.
