Q

FAS HYD PSI LOW Indicator ON

A

*Indicates low pressure for normal operation OPEN/CLOSE hydraulic accumulator. May reduce speed of opening and closing doors in MANUAL and AUTO mode.

If indicator stays on longer than 10 seconds, jettison tank contents when practical.

  1. Open doors… press and release collective hat switch to position 2
  2. Close doors… press and release collective hat switch to position 1
19
Q

FAS E-DUMP PSI LOW Indicator ON

A

*Indicates low pressure for E-Dump accumulator. May reduce effectiveness of opening doors with Overhead Cargo Hook Panel EMER REL ALL switch. This does not have an effect on normal operation OPEN/CLOSE accumulator or opening and closing doors with MANUAL and AUTO mode

If indicator stays on longer than 10 seconds, jettison tank contents when practical using either Auto or Manual mode.

  1. Open doors… press and release collective hat switch to position 2
  2. Close doors… press and release collective hat switch to position 1
20
Q

FAS HYD FLUID LOW Indicator ON

A

*Indicates low fluid for hydraulic reservoir used for normal and E-Dump accumulators. Lack of fluid can reduce effectiveness of opening/closing doors with MANUAL and AUTO mode or Overhead Cargo Hook Panel EMER REL ALL switch.

If indicator persistently stays ON at hover or during steady forward movement, jettison tank contents when practical.

  1. Open doors… press and release collective hat switch to position 2
  2. Close doors… press and release collective hat switch to position 1

If the doors DO NOT open with normal procedures:
