Chronic disorder characterized by two or more unprovoked seizures separated by 24 hours
What age groups get epilepsy?
Newborns and young children
Second peak > 65 years

Focal aware seizures

Focal aware with motor onset

What is the jacksonian march?
Tingling of fingertips, to hands, to arm to entire arm
What is todd’s paralysis?
Affects one side of the body - numb/tingle for the rest of the day
