ENG 1,2,3,4 FAIL (TWO or MORE ENGINES)
- FUEL CONTROL SWITCHES (affected engines) - CONFIRM, CUTOFF, then RUN
- EGT - MONITOR
(If EGT rapidly approaches the takeoff EGT limit, repeat step 1 as necessary)
NOTE: Do not manually abort the start if EGT turns red. EGT turns red when EGT exceeds the start limit line (lower red line). Autostart discontinues the current start attempt before EGT reaches the multiple engine in-flight start limit (upper red line).

- THRUST LEVER (affected engine) - RETARD
(Retard until indications stay within normal limits, or return to normal, or the thrust lever is closed)

FIRE ENG 1,2,3,4 or SEVERE ENGINE DAMAGE/SEPARATION
- THRUST LEVER (affected engine) - CONFIRM, IDLE
- FUEL CONTROL SWITCH (affected engine) - CONFIRM, CUTOFF
- ENGINE FIRE SWITCH (affected engine) - CONFIRM, PULL
- If the FIRE ENG message is shown:
> Engine Fire Switch - ROTATE
(Rotate to the stop and hold for 1 sec)
If after 30 seconds the FIRE ENG message stays shown:
> Engine Fire Switch - Rotate to other BOTTLE
(Rotate to the other stop and hold for 1 second)

HUNG START (AUTOSTART AFTER STARTER CUTOUT)
CONDITION: N2 below 50% or engine fails to accelerate 90 seconds after fuel control switch placed to run
- FUEL CONTROL SWITCH - CUTOFF

- APU FIRE SWITCH - PULL and ROTATE

FIRE WHEEL WELL
- WHEN extending or retracting the landing gear, do not exceed the gear EXTEND limit of (270K/.82M)
- LANDING GEAR LEVER - DOWN

ENGINE FIRE ON THE GROUND
- FUEL CONTROL SWITCH (affected engine) - CUTOFF
WARNING: DO NOT PROCEED UNTIL ENGINE SHUTDOWN HAS OCCURRED
If FIRE indication persists after engine shutdown: - ENGINE FIRE SWITCH (affected engine) - PULL
- ENGINE FIRE SWITCH (affected engine) - ROTATE
After a momentary delay: - ENGINE FIRE SWITCH (affected engine) - ROTATE (to the other bottle)
> discharge the 2nd fire bottle regardless of fire indications
LOWER CARGO FIRE ON THE GROUND
- CARGO FIRE ARM SWITCH (affected compartment) - PUSH
- CARGO FIRE DEPRESS/DISCH SWITCH - PUSH
WARNING: Inform ground personnel not to open any cargo door until all supernumeraries and crew have exited the airplane and fire fighting equipment is nearby
