Sent to influence, guide and sustain earth
Unseen power of God in the past present and future
Source of strength that Christians find at work in the hearts
Why is the trinity important and why might it be difficult to believe?
It allows Christians to gain some understanding of God and what is written about him in the bible
It is also three different areas and personalities that people can relate with in their times of need and three sople they can learn and grow from
However it may be difficult for people to understand the trinity because many people view Jesus and god as separate beings.
“if God were loving there would be no evil and suffering in the world”
Agree: Atheists may believe that God is evil because of Old Testament stories like Noahs Ark were he sent a flood to destroy the human race Due to anger
Also he created the devil and hell
Disagree:
Teach us lessons and to deal with pain which is inevitable
We are Gods creations he can do what he wants
He gave us Jesus who performed miracles that saved lives like parting the Red Sea and feeding the 5000 (nicene creed)
Jesus healed a blind man
Some suffering is caused by humans and is our responsibility
What is the order of genesis?
1) In the beginning God created the heavens and earth and ”let there be light and there was light”separated light and darkness creating day and night evening and morning
2) sky
3) land and waters
4) time and stars
5) birds and sea creatures
6) people, food and animals he said to Adam and Eve be fruitful and increase in numbers
7) god rested creating Sunday the sabbath day of rest

Based on 4 gospels Son of good King of the Jews Performed miracles Resurrected
Not very reliable as information fabricated and not proven
What is the historical view of Jesus ?
Religious easer called Christ Threatened the romans WASN’T the son of god Special holy man she they god as stated by his name DIDNT perform miracles
Quite reliable as written on a census that Jesus existed and there are some books stating he was killed by romans but the book was rotten after his death
What is the mythical view of Jesus
Made up and based on peoples beliefs
Books were changed after his death
Stories like this in other religions
Not reliable based off opinions and beliefs not facts
What is the after life ?
Death aperarse life on Earth (temporary) from life with god (eternal) and is something not to be feared. Christians Belice they will reunite with the dead which is eases pain of bereavement
Book of revelations: god will wipe every tear there will be no more death, crying or pain
What do Christians believe about resurrection ?
God will resurrect them before judgement day and Jesus will come to judge both the living and the dead.
However some people reject the idea of Jesus coming back saying that Jesus expresses something we can’t understand and humans will account for their actions but no one knows how or when
What do Christians and Roman Catholics belief about where you go when you die ?
Heaven: as opposed to a physical place is a state of being outside of time and space with god.
Hell: described via the bible as unquenchable fire. Historically used to frighten people into following church rules. Eternal separation from God and humans choose hell by turning away from God in the past and present
Roman Catholics believe in purgatory a state between death and the afterlife. A place where the soul is purifies enough to enter heaven
