What is the lock and key theory?
A
Only one substrate will fit into the only active site belonging to an enzyme.

What is the Induced-fit hypothesis?
A
Enzyme molecule slightly changes shape when t collides with substrate, making the cave site fit more closely around the substrate molecule.

What does an enzyme do?
A
Break components into 2 separate molecules. It supplies the molecule with enough energy to break the bond.
