environmental factors that affect development Flashcards
name the environemental factors
exposure to pollution
respiratory disorders
allergies
poor housing conditions
caardiovascular problems
hypothermia
anxiety and depression
availibility of transport
how does exposure to pollution affect development
air and pollution can influence development and be a major source of health both indoors and outdoor. the environment may contain many chemcials from vehicle exhaust systems and industrial emissions
how does respiratory disorders affect development
the risk factors associated with cardiovascular problems including smoking tobacco and air pollution. exposure to pollution during pregnancy may be linked baby having congenital heart defects and cardiovascular disease in later life
