What does the “Red” Control Access light indicate at the AFRL?
This light indicates a highly hazardous condition or operations in the area beyond the light/ Entry is not permitted. If entry is required as a result of an emergency, the patrol must have an escort and approval by a Test Conductor. Radio and Cell-phone use is unauthorized in the area
What does the “Amber” Control Access Light indicate at the AFRL?
This light indicates hazardous exists (explosives, propellants, chemicals, or a hazard) in the area beyond the light. During duty hours, enter only after approval by the area manager or supervisor. During non-duty hours, when no personnel are present, entry is authorized but patrol must stay inside the vehicle at all times. Enter only if suspicious or unauthorized activity is suspected
What does the “Green” Control Access Light indicate at the AFRL?
This light indicates the area is free of hazardous operations or materials. During duty hours, patrols may enter this enter this area area clearance with the SOCC or visitor control point if one exists. During non-duty hours when no personnel are present, patrols are cleared to entry the area to perform patrol functions
Which area are considered “Do not enter areas” at the AFRL?
Test/Area I-30, Propellant Lab; Test Area I-39, Toxic Fuel Farm; Test Area I-38, Environmental Storage Complex, Test Area I-40, Liquid Propellant Storability Complex
What actions should you take if Bldg. 8451/8417 are found unsecure?
Do not enter the buildings. Notify the ECC and maintain a safe distance until the facility manager arrives
Who is the only authority to coordinate visits by foreign nationals with AFRL Gate?
The AFRL Security Office and AFRL Foreign Disclosure Office
Who must you notify upon the arrival of any foreign national who has not been pre-announced at AFRL?

What actions should you take if a foreign national(s) is/are not listed on the EAL and are not authorized at the AFRL?
Detain, identity and ascertain destination. Contact the ECC to initiate QRC. Do not release foreign national(s) until authorized by the ECC
