The legend surrounding the life of Lao Tzu’s life is interesting. Before leaving China, someone insisted that he record himself speaking some words of wisdom. Lao Tzu refusing to have his ideas be recorded, he decided to write them down which how “Tao Te Ching” was formed. He intentionally made it confusing to understand as well.
