As a mother with two children to feed, what should Gulnaz have done so that they would not starve?
My answer: She should’ve asked help from the village or at least try her best to keep her kids a long lasting life and not just stand there panicking and not doing anything.
Contrast the idleness of Gulnaz household, the busy activity of neighbors in the outside. What do you think is the author’s purpose in showing the
contrast?
My answer: It contrasts between how Gulnaz and her two kids are experiencing the hunger and grief while the neighbors outside experience a normal busy day. Indicating how hunger and a normal being reality is.
