• pre-conception target TSH <2.6 (poor evidence)
• may need to increase dose by 30-40% by 4-6 wks GA

Thyroid Nodule

• US + TSH
• if TSH low –> thyroid scan, if ‘hot’ then 99.9% chance benign
• if TSH N or high –> then FNA if > 1 cm ( >5 mm if risk factors)
