  1. Idiopathic adrenal hyperplasia- 60-70%
  2. adrenal adenoma
    3.unilateral hyperplasia
  3. familial hyperaldosteronism
  4. adrenal carcinoma

Management of primary hyperaldonsteronism

A

Depends on cause
adrenal adenoma: surgery (laparoscopic adrenalectomy)
- bilateral adrenocortical hyperplasia: aldosterone antagonist e.g. spironolactone
