history: hint hypermetabolism: weight loss, tremor, heat intolerance, hyperdefecation, palpitation,
physical exam: tachy, htnsive, fever, severe thyrotoxicosis heart failure

A

send for TSH, T3, T4
expect low TSH, high T3, T4

if suspecting malignancy, thyroid ultrasound, FNA biopsy based on criteria
