what is the function of growth hormone?
to grow muscles and bone and organs
what happens if there is too much growth hormone?
this can cause gigantism
what happens if there is too little growth hormone?
this can cause dwarfism
where is prolactin secreted from?
the anterior pituitary gland
what is the target of prolactin?
the mamary glands and ovaries
what is the funciton of prolactin?
to produce milk. (think proLACtin= LACtate)
where is thyroid stimulating hormone secreted from?

what is the target of TSH?
the thyroid gland
what is the function of TSH?
to control the amount of secretion the thyroid gland does
what can be an abnormality of the TSH?
too much causes enlarged thyroid, too little can cause a small thyroid
