Q

What occurs at the beginning of endocrine hormones secretion?

A

At the beginning of this mechanism the blood flows over the hypothalamus and is detected as being low in thyroid level.

Q

What occurs in the second stage of hormone secretion after a low thyroid level is detected?

A

The hypothalamus will synthesise thyroid releasing hormone which will pass into the anterior pituitary.

Q

In the second stage TRH is released and what does this stimulate the release of?

What is produced as a result ?

A

TRH stimulates the anterior pituitary which causes the release of the thyroid hormone this causes a production of T3/T4 in the blood.
