A
Hypercalcemia sx’s:
- Kidney stones
- Bone pain
- Abominal pain
- Psych
- Decreased deep tendon reflexes

A
sharp increase in PTH and Ca++ in response to Dehydration: Vomiting, diarrhea

- AMS
- Severe abd pain
- N/V

DKA and HHS treatment
A
- IV Fluids!!!
- Regular Insulin
- Potassium
- Bicarb= ONLY if severe acidosis
