Dry gum method

1. add acacia and all oil to mortar and titrate till smooth slurry
2. measure aqueous phase in grad cyclinder and add all at once with hard and fast trituration until form prinary emulsion

*look for crackling sound an oily appearing liquid into thick white liq

3. once get primary emulsion add the other ingredients

wet gum method

Answer 3

1. add acacia and small amounts of water miscible wetting agent like glycerin
2. gradually add in calculated amount of water in small proptions with trituation
3. oil is gne gradually added with trituation until all is added and primary is formed
4. then add water and other ingredients
