An electronic means of transferring an employees wages from the employers bank account to the employees

Employer does not have to make out cheques for many employees
Eliminates problems associated with cash payments
Saves time as it is quick and easy

Employees do not run the risk of losing their cash
Employees do not have to lodge money in the bank, saves time
Wages are lodged instantly to employees bank account which can earn interest
Employees can access cash recieved at ATMs
