Work Performance Standards

Written statements of the results and/or behaviors expected from working at a specific appointment. Employees will be provided with a copy of their standards for their position.

Performance Evaluation

If you are serving a PP, your supervisor will evaluate your performance.
For a 6 month PP, evaluations occur at the 2nd and 5th months.
For a 1 year PP, evaluations occur at the 3rd, 7th, and 11th months.
Permanent employees will receive and annual performance evaluation.

If you disagree with a PE, you can request a review. A reviewing officer will be assigned to review the report on performance between you and your supervisor.

Training

The state supports training programs and employee development to improve the efficiency and productivity of all state employees. Each agency is responsible for their own orientation, on the job training, and specialized training.

The DHRM is responsible for general training, including supervision, management, customer service, and sexual harassment prevention. Courses are on (NEATS)
