NUC Lights/Shapes Immediately Raise - Change AIS Status

Emergency Power Supply Switched over if not automatic

Position of VL’s in the vicinity checked

Prepare Anchor if depth & conditions are appropriate

VTS or Port Authority informed. Promulgate VHF message to warn other vessels in the vicinity

Engine Room Called - Gather information for status of repairs etc

Log Book entries

Backup control on Steering is on emergency switchboard

Vessel drift & EP determined

Watertight doors closed - Should be already
