• Aircraft control
• Major fire on board
• Gear unsafe indication
• Any other situation judged dangerous by the PIC

What is the failure management procedure ?

Answer 2

1. CONTROL : Attitude, Speed, Altitude, Heading/Power/Drag
2. IDENTIFY : Identify/verify the failure and evaluate the time available
3. EXECUTE : Perform vital actions and verifications ( by memory )
4. COMMUNICATE : Advise ATC by declaring emergency and giving your plan
5. CHECKLIST : Perform the appropriate checklist
