What is the Before Take Off Briefing ?
A
- Type of take-off ( Normal, Short, Crosswind )
- Runway in use
- Partial power ( 1500 RPM), Engine parameters check
- Take off power set
- VMC
- Vr
- Vyse/ Vy
- Any problem before rotation, reject and perform ground emergency procedures
- Any problem after rotation , continue and proceed with in-flight emergency procedures
- Read SID or IFR departure that has been approved (IFR )
- Comm failure procedures ( IFR )

What is the approach plate briefing ?
A
- Generalities:
- Approach type and transition, runway used and airport name, plate validity
- Airport elevation and touchdown altitude
- Safety altitudes : 100NM and 25NM
2.Trajectory:
Transition from arrival / hold, routing, headings and directions of turns, procedure turn type - Descent profile:
Altitudes PT, FAF, Stepdown, / MDA with temp correction if needed - Decision and missed approach :
Missed approach point position/timing
Visual transition if runway in sight
Missed approach reading if no visual
5.Speeds :
Transition speed, Approach speed and Vref
