Airspeed - 65 knots Carburetor heat - on Fuel selector - both Mixture - rich Ignition switch - both Primer - in & locked Ignition switch (if propeller stopped) - start Engine gauges - checked Checklist - complete

Battery master switch - off
Avionics Switch - off
All other Switches (except ignition) - off
Vents/cabin Air/Heat - closed
Cabin Fire Extinguisher (if installed) - obtain/use
Cabin - Ventilate

Mixture - Idle Cut-Off Fuel Selector - Off Battery Master Switch - Off Cabin Heat/Air (except overhead vents) - Closed Airspeed - 100 KIAS + to extinguish fire

Vents/Cabin Air/heat - Closed
Cabin Fire Extinguisher - Obtain/Use
