Abnormal Start
- Condition Lever – FUEL CUTOFF (note ITT decrease below 790 C)
- Starter – Starter only (for the remainder of the 40 seconds)
- Starter – OFF (at 40 seconds)
Emergency Shutdown On Deck
*1. Condition Lever(S) – FUEL CUTOFF
IN CASE OF CONFIRMED/SUSPECTED FIRE OR FUEL LEAK, CONTINUE CHECKLIST. IF NOT, SECURE REMAINING ENGINE USING SECURE CHECKLIST.
- Firewall Valves – CLOSED
- Boost Pumps – OFF
- Fire Extinguisher – As Required
- AUX BATT Switch – OFF
- Gang Bar – OFF
- Evacuate Aircraft
Aborting Takeoff
- Announce “Abort”
- Power levers – IDLE
- Reverse – As Required
- Brakes – As Required
IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO DEPARTING THE
PREPARED SURFACE:
*5. Condition levers – FUEL CUTOFF
AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE:
- Firewall valves – CLOSED
- Boost pumps – OFF
- Fire extinguisher(s) – As Required
- AUX BATT switch – OFF
- Gang bar – OFF
- Evacuate aircraft
Engine Failure After Takeoff
- Power – As Required
- Gear – UP
- Airspeed – As Required (VXSE or VYSE)
- Emergency Shutdown Checklist – Execute

†2. Prop lever – FEATHER
†*3. Condition lever – FUEL CUTOFF

†*3. Condition Lever (Failed Engine) – FUEL CUTOFF
*4. Firewall Valve – OPEN
*5. Autoignition – ARMED
*6. Condition Lever – LOW IDLE
*7. Power – As Required
Smoke/Fire of Unknown Origin
- Crew – Alerted
- Cabin temperature mode – OFF
- Vent blower – AUTO
- Oxygen masks/MIC switches (100 percent) – As Required
Smoke and Fume Elimination
- Oxygen masks/MIC switches (100 percent) – As Required
* 2. Pressurization – DUMP
Fuel Leaks

Generator Failure
*1. Starter – OFF
*2. Generator – OFF, Reset Momentarily, release slowly to ON
IF GENERATOR WILL NOT RESET:

*4. Current limiter (Battery Ammeter) – Checked
Primary Governor Failure/Malfunction
1. Attempt to adjust prop rpm to normal operating range.

Explosive Decompression
- Oxygen masks/MIC switches (100 percent) – As Required

Spin/Out of Control Flight Recovery
- Power Levers – Idle
- Rudder – Full deflection opposite direction of turn needle
- Control Wheel – Rapidly forward
- Rudder – Neutralize after rotation stops
- Control wheel – Pull out of dive by exerting smooth, steady back pressure
