A

D.C. shock

Adrenaline 1mg IV (10 ml of 1 in 10,000)

Amiodarone 300mg IV (if shockable)

10% glucose 150ml IV (repeat as needed)

Glucagon 1mg IM (if no IV access)

A

10% calcium gluconate 10ml over 5 minutes

10% glucose 250ml IV

10 units actrapid insulin added over 30 minutes

Atropine 500mcg IV (repeat every 3-5 minutes to maximum of 3mg)

A

Adenosine 6mg IV (followed by 12mg, and then 12mg if unsuccessful)

NB- must be given as a bonus and flushed quickly via a large vein

300mg IV over 20-60 minutes

A

Haloperidol 2-5mg PO/ IM

NB- use oral where possible, half dose in elderly and renal failure, haloperidol has contraindications
