• Cabin Crew will re-evaluate their Exits
• Operate all useable doors and direct passengers assertively to the exits.
(ie: follow EOEC)
What would the actions of the Cabin Crew be at an
unusable exit?
Block and redirect the passengers to other useable exits.
Use positive commands: “Open Seatbelts. Leave everything. Go that way.”
Describe the forward facing Brace Position.
- Knees together, feet firmly on the floor, slightly apart and slightly forward.
- Hands placed under the legs with palms facing upwards and thumbs against the thighs.
- Back pressed firmly against the seat.
- Head bent forward.

• Evaluate outside conditions, check level of water at door sill.
• Don/Wear Life Jacket and instruct passengers to do the same. Crew must command passengers where to locate their Life Jacket (ie: “Put On Life Jacket, Under Your Seat”)
• Commence Evacuation at useable exits.
