Describe the Fire Extinguishing System
1) 5 Valves total (1 to each engine and 1 to GTC)
2) The Valve points to the last Fire Handle Pulled
3) 3 position toggle switch controls discharge of AGENT.
4) The Agent is not effective until a fire handle is pulled.

Is it ok to just Jump out of the overhead escape hatch and hold on to the rope?
1) They are aft of each overhead escape hatch
No, the rope is EXTREMELY long, and therefore you must climb out using the rope.
How many and what type of life rafts are on the aircraft?
where are they located?
If you are in a crash/ditching… what happens?
Where are the life raft release handles?
1) There is space for four 20 man life rafts
2) Normally, only two 20 man life rafts are carried.
They are located in the top center wing, trailing edge.
In a ditching – they automatically inflate, when the handles are released. They are secured to the aircraft by a rope.
There are six life raft release handles,
1) 2 are aft of forward escape hatch.
2) 2 are aft of right paratroop door.
3) 2 are located on the upper wing, inboard
Where is the Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT located)
How does it work?
What frequencies does it transmit?
What are the modes and where is that switch?
1) In the dorsal fin of the aircraft
2) It sense amplitude and duration of forces on the aircraft and transmits a signal if those levels are breached.
