neuro: h/a, stroke, vision change, altered LOC, seizure
Resp: tachypnea, dyspnea, hypoxia, hemoptysis
Cardiac: RV overload, MI
Other: DIC, renal failure, priapism/clitoral enlgt, dactylitis
Hyperleukocytosis leukapheresis indications
sympto WBC >100
asympto ALL WBC >400
asympto AML WBC >200
Mediastinal Mass DDx
HL
NHL
T-ALL
Ewing
NBl
thymoma, teratoma, thyroid
Spinal cord compression DDx
extradural (more common): Ewing, NBl, osteo, RMS, HL, STS, GCT
intradural (less common): astrocytoma, ependymoma, medullo, ATRT
Spinal cord compression Px (recovery of function)
treated promptly 50% regain function
compression >24h likely irreversible damage
