A host is a server that stores your emails. You must access the server to be able to read and send emails

A server is a computer that stores files. For example, websites to be accessed by computers over the internet
What is a mailbox
This is the place where your emails are stored
What does it mean to be online
This means you are connected to the email server
What does it mean to be offline
This means you are not connected to the email server
What are the two types of email
- Webmail
- ISP - hosted mail
What is webmail
Webmail is an email system that allows you to access your email account via a web browser or an internet connected device
What is ISP - hosted mail
ISP stands for Internet Service Provider. They provide you with an email.
What is a folder
In your email
A folder is a named location in your inbox. You can move emails into different folders to keep them organized
This is a folder in emails not the normal one in file explorer
What is hyperlink
This is a word or an image on a website. When you click it, it takes you to a different webpage.
What is malware
Malware is software that is installed without your knowledge, usually to do damage to your computer
What is a virus
This is a type of malware that makes copies of itself and can damage your computer
