sitting with elbow in slight flexion, therapist places thumb over lateral epicondyle
Pt makes a fist, pronates the arm, radially deviates and extends the wrist

pain in lateral epicondyle and weakness
(+) = lateral epiconylitis
Maudsley’s Test position/procedure
seated with elbow in slight flexion
- stabilize elbow and hand just distal to PIP

Mill’s Test position/procedure
seated, pronate’s pt’s forearm, flexes the wrist and extends the elbow

Medial Epicondylitis test position/procedure
pt in seated. PT supinates pt’s forearm, extends the wrist and extends the elbow

pt fully flexes elbows for 3-5 minutes
