it also has what is called the carrying angle which is when: the trochlea of the humerus which is located medially, projects a bit more inferiorly than did the capitulum, and this creates an angle of the forearm with reference to the long axis of the humerus, van be anywhere from 10-15 degrees as noted above: it is called the carrying angle because it allows us to carry things keeping them away from our bodies
