2
Q

inerosseous membrane

A

prevents proximal displacement of the radius on the ulna. Displacement likely occur with pushing movement

Q

Ligament of struthers is called

A

humerus supracondylar process syndrome
abnormal spur on the shaft of the humerous to the medial epicondyle of the humerus. Brachial artery also accompanies the nerve through this tunnel. Neurological symptom affects pronator teres and same as pronator teres syndrome. Motor loss and sensory loss. Sensory first, motor affects later, with wrist and finger flexion as well as thumb movement being most affected

Q

Pronator teres syndrome

A

Median compressed between two heads of Pronator teres. Pronation is possible but weakness is evident as pronation is loaded

Q

Posterior interosseous syndrome

A

C5-C8, T1
Posteiror interosseous nerve, compressed between two heads of supinator in the arcade or canal of Frohse. Functional involvement of extensors, wrist drop, no sensory deficit

Q

Radial tunnel syndrome

A

mimic tennis elbow. Compress Radial nn at entrance to the tunnel anterior to the head of the radius, near the nerve supplies brachioradialis and extensor carpi radialis longus, beween the ulnar half of the tendon of extensor carpi radialis brevis and its fascia and distal border of supinator

Q

cubital tunnel

A

made up with ulnar collateral ligament with FCU, ulnar nerve passes through and causes tardy ulnar palsy
