What is the formula for frequency?
speed of light (in a vacuum) / wavelength
What is the equation for energy?
plank’s constant x frequency
Describe the quantisation of energy
Electrons can go from one speed to another (with no gradual change). Energy exists in specific pockets called ‘quanta’
What happens if the amount of energy (level) increases? Also draw a diagram to help
As energy (level) increases, the frequency increases

What happens to the space between the energy levels?
They get smaller

The electrons get excited to a higher energy level and when they fall back down they emit energy (frequency)
