General Bio of EK?**
Emirates is owned by the government run Emirates Group. It is the largest airline in the MENA region. It was conceived in March 1985 with royal backing and two PIA aircraft. It is currently the largest operator of the A380 and 777. Its chairman is H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and presided by Sir Tim Clark.
