o Learner in public school shall have right to instruction in language of his/her choice (reasonably practicable)
o Governing body of public school may determine language policy of school subject to National Policy Act & provincial policy determined by Member of Executive Council, provided that no form of racial discrimination may be practised in exercising this policy
o Schools shall provide for more than one language of teaching were needed.
o All schools shall offer at least 1 approved language as subject in Gr 1 & Gr 2
o All schools shall offer at least 2 approved languages, 1 official language, Gr 3 onwards
o All language subjects shall receive equitable time resource allocation
