The structure of behavior that a species to survive and reproduce in its environment

The role that each species plays in its community
Where an organism lives and obtains food is part of its niche.
Population
Is the groups of species in a community
Habitat
Is the place where living things live and how it survives in the ecosystem
Biomes
A region of the world that has similar climate and animals and plants
Tundra
- covers 1/5 of the earth
- is the coldest biome on earth
- animals adapt to extreme col conditions
Tropical forests
- close to the equator so is warm
- gets large amounts of rain so is very wet
- has a ton of colorful plants and animals so has large populations of them
Grasslands
- Weather varies greatly so it is hot and cold year round
- full of grass and scattered trees
- full of herbivores, omnivores, and carnivores
Taiga
- the largest biome on earth
- long and cold winters and short, mild, and wet summers
- it is also cold so has animals thick fur
