What are the factors influencing location of industry?
~Flat land is cheaper to build on
~Access to educated workforce
~Close to raw materials makes it cheaper to import (heavy)
~Close to water source: Cool down machinery, add to products, clean produce
~Access to transport networks: Heavy- motorway, train, port Light: airport
~Tax rates: IRL corporation tax is 12.5%
