ECGs Flashcards
What ECG findings occur in pulmonary emboli?
sinus tachycardia
S1Q3T3 (10%)
Large S wave in lead I, a Q wave in lead III and an inverted T wave in lead III
What do you see on ECG in POSTERIOR MI?
ST elevation in inferior leads, with ST depression in anterior leads (V1-3)
What do you see on ECG in LATERAL MI?
ST elevation V5-6 or I and aVL (sometimes just aVL)
Which STEMI has worst prognosis, anterior, inferior or lateral?
anterior
What ECG changes occur in right heart strain
ST depression and t-wave inversion in leads corresponding to the right ventricle (anterior and inferior)
What is poor R wave progression, and what does it imply?
R wave in V3 <3mm, implies anterior MI
What immediate interventions should you do in all ACS patients?
Morphine
Oxygen
Aspirin
Nitroglycerine
