    • Eating in a small amt of time more food than normal
    • Lack of control over eating when eating
  • Recurrent, inappropriate compensatory behavior to prevent weight gain
  • Episodes occur at least weekly for 3 mo
  • Overemphasis on body shape or weight on self-evaluation

A
  • Goal weight for premenarcheal female = 100% of IBW
  • Goal weight for postmenarcheal female = 90% of IBW + return of menstruation
  • Goal weight for males = 90% of IBW
  • Regular eating pattern
  • Decrease dietary restriction
  • Exposure + response prevention
    • Have to eat
    • Can’t run/exercise/etc… after eating (can’t engage in destructive behavior)
