- Eating in a small amt of time more food than normal
- Lack of control over eating when eating
- Recurrent, inappropriate compensatory behavior to prevent weight gain
- Episodes occur at least weekly for 3 mo
- Overemphasis on body shape or weight on self-evaluation

Nutritional Treatment for AN
A
- Goal weight for premenarcheal female = 100% of IBW
- Goal weight for postmenarcheal female = 90% of IBW + return of menstruation
- Goal weight for males = 90% of IBW
- Regular eating pattern
- Decrease dietary restriction
- Exposure + response prevention
- Have to eat
- Can’t run/exercise/etc… after eating (can’t engage in destructive behavior)
