What is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)?

A
  • Evidence-based psychotherapy
    • Largely based on SLT
    • Heavily incorporates operant and classical conditioning
  • Targets thoughts and behaviors related to onset and maintenance of psychopathology
  • Very suitable for addressing a broad spectrum of psychiatric concerns
