Relies on compulsive compensatory behaviour when food cannot be avoided

What are the physical symptoms of Anorexia nervosa?
- Cold intolerance
- Blue hands and feet
- Constipation
- Bloating
- Delayed puberty
- Primary or secondary amenorrhea
- Dry skin
- Fainting
- Hypotension
- Hair loss
- Weakness, fatigue
What are the psychiatric symptoms of Bulimia nervosa?
Binge eating with a loss of control
Binge eating followed by purging or non-purging
Binges and resulting behaviour must be >2 times per week
Dissatisfaction with body shape

- Mouth sores
- Pharyngeal trauma
- Dental caries
- Heartburn
