- Balkan League (Bulgaria, Greece, Montenegro and Serbia) set up to force Turkey out of Europe
- Russia backs down and begins to re-arm
- Austro-Hungary now feels it can rely on
Germany in future - Weakens Triple alliance because Italy refuses to support Austro-Hungary
