Eagle 2 Flashcards

1
Q

Eagle 2 What is it?

A

Monitors one to six gases simultaneously. Standard configuration includes 4 sensors for- Combustible gas(LEL,PPM,VOL),Oxygen, Carbon monoxide, Hydrogen sulfide (H2S)

8
Q

Charcoal filter

A

contains activated charcoal. CO sensor will respond if exposed to H2S and certain hydrocarbon gases. Charcoal filter scrubs these gases out

17
Q

Catalytic combustible sensor

A

is slightly affected by humidity

18
Q

Obscure stuff

A

False alarms may be triggered by radio frequency

19
Q

What happens when something is wrong with the unit itself

A

It will alarm double pulse tone once per second

20
Q

Low batt warning

A

Eagle 2 is still fully functional but only has 1-2 hours operating time

21
Q

trouble shooting

A

Auto calibration fails-check for leaks make sure its properly set up for calibration, change charcoal filter

22
Q

trouble shooting

A

display says system fail- Press and hold range (down) shift, then press display adjust no. enter password 1994 go to set default screen. press air(up)yes button twice
