not always a super effect method because people may get offended and either not listen or double down on their original thoughts
-better off with more institutional changes and doing things like having diverse workforce, diverse initiatives, and evaluating employees on open mindedness because this will more likely produce long term attitude changes

laws that outlaw prejudice show that authority figures support the notion that prejudice is harmful
-makes people less likely to outwardly show prejudice and as these behaviors lessen over time they become more and more unacceptable

by interacting with may different members of the same group, people will have less homogeneity of outgroup and see that not all others are the same which will decrease prejudice
