E promise Huguenot leader Prince of Conde, 6k men and 30k loan and control of Le Havre port as security
Huguenot’s army defeated and Conde captured, Duke of Guis was assassinated. Peace was agreed. In Treaty of Troyes in 1564. LOSS OF CALAIS AS WELL.
