If a person is found to be ‘drunk and incapable’ then in this first instance we should……
treat this as being in need of medical assistance at hospital and an ambulance should be called.
What happens If an arrested ‘drunk and incapable person has declined or been refused medical treatment.
Only as a last resort do we take them into custody at a police station. We as officers have a duty of care.
