what is the placebo effect

A

this is the blind test, when the doctor gives 2 patients either the drug or just a sugar tablet, so the patient with the placebo(the fake) will think its the druf and think they feel better. this is the placebo effect.

what is the double blind test?

A

this is when the placebo effect is in place but this time the doctor and paitents doesnt know which is the fake and real drug but someone does with all the numbers.

because both cause the risk of addiction, they can both cause some kind of disease let alone cancer, both cost a lot of money and risk patients getting worse
