Drug education
Schools play an important part in helping students make safe and healthy choices about both legal and illegal drug use.
A safe and supportive school environment reduces the risk of drug use
amongst students.
I believe that education on drugs at school effectively works,
especially when students are shown real world scenarios as they are able to gain a greater understanding of the danger of drugs, through stories of people just like them, but who have unfortunately made a bad choice in life.
All high schools I feel should have compulsory drug education programs for students from years seven to
ten.
