Cardiac chest pain/compromise (angina pectoris); acute myocardial infarction or suspected by assessment.

Decreased platelet aggregation, preventing additional clot formation, thus maintaining blood flow to cardiac muscle.

None in acute emergency settings

4 chewable tablets 81 mg times four equaling 324 mg.

Side Effects:
A
Can cause a dry mouth,
GI bleeding,
laryngeal edema
bronchospasm (usually presents with allergic reaction to ASA).
