If a member involved collision only rises to the level of an incident and no other citizen vehicle was involved, supervisor completes a:
Supervisor report of department vehicle incident
Define accident
A collision of one or more vehicles and
injury or death occurs and/or
total damage is greater than $750
Define an incident
Any non-injury collision of a minor in nature, not meeting requirements for an “accident”
Supervisor may submit a “supervisors report of vehicle incident” under the following circumstances:
Less than $750 damage
No injuries
No other citizen vehicle
Minor damage to private property
Training collisions
Disabling any of the Ford utility vehicle stability control aids is prohibited, unless:
Driving in inclement conditions and
suffer total traction loss and
the ability to drive the vehicle depends on disabling those aids
